Williamson My Florist understands the trust our customers place in us to deliver fresh flowers in a safe and responsible manner, we take this responsibility incredibly seriously. Given the evolving COVID-19 situation and following the advice from health authorities I wanted to update you with what we’re doing, as this is clearly a worrying time for our customers and staff alike.
I wanted to reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of customer’s recipients and colleagues is our top priority.
It looks increasingly likely we shall all want to feel even safer when delivering your fresh flower order and as such our drivers will perform Contactless Delivery to limit physical contact during the current COVID-19 outbreak. We have recommended a similar approach to our delivery partners.
By introducing Contactless Delivery, we believe that we will give our customers peace of mind when ordering fresh flowers from Williamson’s, while also protecting the recipient of your gift along with our delivery drivers.
How we propose this shall work for you our valued customer and our valued delivery drivers
Placing your floral gift on the doorstep.
Ringing doorbell to highlight a delivery is being made.
Delivery driver will stand back and if no one answers, will place your floral gift in a safe place.
If placing in a safe place we will post a card.
We will record proof of delivery on our handheld device and take a photo if applicable.
Drivers will (as always) observe the highest-quality hygiene standards.
If the recipient chooses to open the door while our delivery driver is at the door the driver shall stay at least two meters away while communicating with the recipient, ensuring the service is truly contactless.
